Our Purpose
Our purpose is to share our love of dogs in a creative and lasting way. We strive to infuse a feeling of warmth and joy in every print and collection we create. Dogs are under our care and for a lot of us a family member. Whether it’s a tiny Chihuahua or a giant Great Dane, they are ours to love and protect. And it is a privilege to do so!
Our art prints are meant to be a celebration of the breeds you love the most. With thought- provoking, funny themes and conversation-starting pieces. Our prints are created with the intent to bring smiles and laughter into your home, your office, or wherever they are displayed.
Our Uniqueness
How do our canvas art prints stand out from others on the market? At chunique chihuahuas, we seek to differentiate our artwork by seeking feedback regarding the types of collections and prints our customers want to see.
With intentionality behind each collection and print that is designed, we seek to tell a story and add a bit of whimsy and fun to the lives of those who own our pieces.
In addition, our canvas prints are sustainable and eco-friendly. The canvas prints are stretched on proprietary profile radial pine, that is ethically produced from FSC certified renewable forests. The latex inks for the prints are non-hazardous, non-toxic and non-flammable.
Our Founder
Hi! I'm Alison, the founder of chunique chihuahuas. I am a Chihuahua devotee through and through. While I have a great love for all animals, it was a Chihuahua that stole my heart over 20 years ago. Her name was Belle – a blonde, long-haired beauty.
I cannot resist Chihuahua’s with their bug eyes, big ears and affectionate, yet sassy personalities. In my opinion, they are just the best! With that said, there are SO many dog breeds to fall in love with. Every breed has their own characteristics and quirks that make them dear to us.
I want chunique chihuahuas to be a company that fosters creativity and uniqueness. I want to provide endearing artwork for that special breed in your life, and I want our canvas prints to bring joy to you and others.
I have designed individual canvas art prints, as well as collections. The ultimate goal of my artwork is to showcase the breeds you adore the most in a fun and interesting way! The collections (and any piece for that matter) are meant to be a focal point in your home or office. My intent is that they bring a distinctiveness to the design of your home, as well as to showcase your impeccable taste in art.
